Winter time is coming

You know I cannot stay

Just like those summer migrant birds

I need to get away

But now that summer's all gone south

I can no longer stay

Winter time, sweet winter time

How I love your wicked ways

You take the leaves from off of the trees

And you darken down my days

But I believe that old karmic wind

Will blow me back again one sunny day

And like a summer breeze

I'm gonna kiss your skin oh I will

With the scent of new-mown hay

The birds gather on the power lines

To form their last display

One final farewell murmuration

And they'll be on their way
