One more hour I lay inside this waste

White noise so loud I couldn't shut my eyes if I wanted to

Let me bleed

Let me see what I cannot touch

Rip the tissues of my brain away

Let them trickle from my palms

Cold to touch

Silent wake

Of a phrase poised to sever

Quick and clean with the flick of a wrist

It's not easy to disappear without a trace

Maybe this was never meant to work out
