I had a dream last night

You were holding someone else's child

In the fading golden light

We saw a big white house with a big back porch

And he just grabbed your face and laughed at you

And me, I was overcome

And the kid changed from a boy to a girl

As you were walking down the steps

And I said, “Babe, you gotta put her back down

It isn't our turn yet”

So you put her down and we said goodbye

And we walked around the bend

And I just had this feeling

That we'd be here again
