Woke up to the sunlight, dancing on your skin

Another day, another chance to let light in

Through every high and low, we're holding on so tight

No storm can break us no, won't stand down without a fight

Through the good times and the bad

Never want you to be sad

I hate to see you like this

Your smile is something I'd miss

In your eyes, I see my past

All the downs, they never last

I'll be there til death tears us apart

A shoulder to lean on wherever you are

In your eyes, I see my future

All my dreams seem a little closer

I wanna grow old together, now and forever

I wanna see the world through your eyes

Some days are heavy, like a cloud inside my chest

But you remind me why we're trying our best

Through every shattered moment, we still find a way

To turn this pain to poetry, and keep the dark at bay
