He said you don’t know my pain

I just wanna go home

Can’t sleep cos bombs and drones

Are going off like ringtones on mobile phones

Family killed I see their ghosts

I talk to them when I’m dreaming

But get interrupted by demons

I fight back cos I wanna get even

They were killed for no reason

They always stayed out of trouble

Now they’re under that rubble

We huddle in in zones they said we’re safe

Till they choose to detonate

Then we flee to other places

Teardrops fall from Mothers faces

Cos their kids were taken

He said you won’t believe the things I’m facing

And why are you complaining?
