If They Can't Find the Way Then There's No Way Out

i tried religion -it didn't go and alter me

i tried to meditate, i tried psychogeograhy, i tried acid birds, yeh i tried tarot cards

i deranged all my senses i broke open the head, threw myself in the void just to find a feather bed.

i tried booze and pills, drowned my life in strange things, i walked the left hand path, mixed the divine with a real good laugh and yet nothing changed and nothing lasts, but if nothing changes then nothing is lost, no nothing is lost

and everyones looking for something

and everyone needs help to find them and if poems are keys to all the lives that we lead and the words they left on the ground forms an arrow-to show the way out, to show us where to go

then i heard that song, i saw your face again, and all those beautiful things that decipher our hearts

but if they can't find the way, if they can't find the way then there's no way out.
