It's important to make music to glorify God

So much of my career has been about making music for myself

But this collection of songs about the names of God

Is my humble attempt to give people something that meets them in their time of need

And pain

To uplift their souls

And share God's love

And wisdom

I want to close out this project with something weighing on my heart

As I grow older

And hear many married couples' honest stories

It is evident that all relationships have their times of struggle

Frustration and hardship

To make a lasting marriage work

Both parties must be intentional about showing love and attention

Finding ways to connect, keeping the spark of love alive

And building an unbreakable foundation of friendship

Loyalty

Humor, Safety

Dependability

And effortless conversation

When one person in a relationship falls too much into their own world

The other person will start to feel lonely and unseen

And thus, the divorce rate is as high as it is in America

But if a flickering glimmer of love is there, healthy relationships are worth fighting for at all costs

With all my heart

I ask anyone listening to work on yourself to figure out what you are doing wrong and how you can do better

Take ownership of what you have done wrong

Say you're sorry

Actually, change for the better

And ask how you can be a more dependable life partner

Finally, if you haven't recently told your significant other

How much you love them, do this as soon as you can

And keep finding ways to let them know through your actions that they are truly loved
