Time flies in the morning, sails through the afternoon

Time flies in the morning, and through the work day too

Then it drags through the evening, when I start thinking about you

I sit down in the kitchen, with a worried mind

Keep a tall glass in the kitchen, for whatever I may find

Tell me who gets your attention, who are you giving what was mine

I used to love a Sunday, when you’d reach for me

Yeah early on a Sunday, oh the memories

Now I just draw the shades, ‘cause I can’t stand to see

Time flies in the morning, sails through the afternoon

Time flies in the morning, and through the work day too

Then it drags through the evening, when I start thinking about you you you, yeah

Well it drags through the evening, when I start thinking about you

Yes it does
