Lately I've been reflecting on all of my past decisions
Thinking back I've always really struggled with religion
Like if Satan made me feel like I would never truly fit in

So God can't repair me, there would be no way to heal me
So I lean into the scripture, I can tell that he's deceiving me
Trying to plant a seed in me of fear and uncertainty

Could of repurposed me and turned me to a casualty

I was searching for acceptance from a world that sold me lies
They crucified a perfect man and beat him till he cried
Out to the heavens and he asked the father why
Why he had forsaken him with mercy in his eyes
He became sin so I could live a blameless life
Separated from his father so that he could pay my price
Even after all the torture and the blood inside his eyes
He still loved us so much he offered us eternal life
That's why it doesn't matter what the world thinks of me

They mocked the king of kings so who am I to try and flee
