The Lord said to Noah, "Build you a ship before a great rain's gon' come"

Noah said, "God, I don't understand," He said, "Son, you've been a faithful one"

So Noah took heed and he built him an Ark crafted from gold through wood

When it was done Noah gathered his sons, their families and all that he could

Rain came true

Riding out the waves

40 days and 40 nights, the rainwater fell from the sky

The land turned to sea and man turned to none, except for Noah, the sons and their wives

Well, after some time Noah sent out a dove to search for dry land

Took him some time, but that dove came a flying, carrying an olive branch

150 days

Staring at the sea

Riding out the waves

Creatures roam free all through the land, the ark was at rest

The man had been cleansed and Noah was left feeling very blessed

Well he thanked God for all that he'd done and letting that dove fly

The Lord said to Noah, "Never again, I'm placing my rainbow in the sky"
