Lyrics

The Outer Rim of the ship named Structure
Is the equivalent of a complete megalopolis
With highways that crisscross the infinite void
Along its ever-expanding carcass.
The Outer Rim contains gigantic factories
Which build enormous exploration vessels
Which will be irrevocably transferred
From the Outer Rim to the virtual worlds.
The Outer Rim has a weapons system
Which serves only as a defense against the enemy
Even if it is permanently disabled
Because until now no one knows where Structure is.
We are progressing into the future;
Many ships have returned to the Outer Rim
One of them included a group of disparate heroes
From different virtual worlds in different eras
Who took control and rebelled.
Structure was stormed from within,
No damage was done to the Outer Rim,
Until the enemy finally found us,
And unleashed their ultimate weapon upon the surface.
Armies of robots led by the Absolute Evil,
A cross between a Devil and a Demon,
Capable of methodical revenge,
While unpredictable and unleashing violence.
Structure was at the mercy of the enemy,
But the rebels who had left it defenseless,
Finally decided to fight for Structure,
And many of them fought to the end.
The Outer Rim was the first to fall,
Despite heroic resistance and a sustained effort,
Many heroes lost their lives fighting there,
Sometimes in horrific or unjust ways.
We are moving toward the future;
The Outer Rim was a sufficiently dense terrain
To significantly reduce the threat
To counter a large part of the invading army
Robots against robots, machines against machines.
The heroes who lost their lives attempted to defend Structure
By rearming the defenses they had disabled
The Outer Rim was intended to be expendable
To serve as the first line of defense to absorb the attack.
The losses were enormous on both sides
But the objective was achieved despite the rebel uprising
Which served as a trigger for the enemy attack
Although the two were never connected.
The Outer Rim was expendable from the start
Its sole purpose was to lessen the impact of the attack
And it fulfilled this mission successfully
But it also had another role.
Indeed, hidden in the Outer Rim,
There was a gigantic sacrificial device,
Capable of opening a breach in the material world,
To spit out all the matter trapped in this non-world.
This device is the one that gave rise to an event,
Which the virtual worlds call the "Great Sundering,"
The moment when the worlds drifted so far apart,
That ships were needed to reconnect them.
We are regressing to the past;
The Outer Rim was meant to be underestimated,
The Maker of Structure had the idea of making it gigantic,
And of giving it near-infinite expansion for a good reason;
It was too vast to be simply destroyed.
As a result, it did not represent a strategic objective;
It would have required a more than considerable power,
To even hope to render it inoperable and harmless,
And its defenses were designed to deceive the enemy.
The flawed strategic assessment masked the reality,
And once the Outer Rim was conquered, it was forgotten;
It was just a conquered territory, nothing more;
Its defenses had fallen at a heavy price.
No one could have believed that such a terrifying weapon,
Would be exposed for all to see yet go so unnoticed,
Who would have thought this bluff was a stroke of genius?
Who could have guessed the very nature of the Outer Rim?
Structure was never just a vessel,
Structure was always a skillfully crafted plan,
Planned down to the smallest detail by the Creator.
The tool that will change the face of the Universe forever.
