The Outer Rim is not inhabited by living beings.

The only organisms that move there are the Borg,

Machines resembling metal human skeletons,

These units are not originally used for combat.

They are versatile but generally used for construction.

Tireless workers who assembled the entire Structure,

Gradually expanding the size of this gigantic vessel.

The Borg are programmed and programmable machines.

Most of the time, they are managed by a distributed system.

It is itself connected to a central system that acts as a scheduler

And programs the Borg as needed to expand the Structure.

The Borg have no will of their own and only obey orders.

This is why it was easy to reprogram them to commit sabotage,

Small groups of Borg causing significant damage in the Outer Rim,

Just enough time to convert enough of them into an army and take control.

This was the plan of the Servant of the Divine Mother to overthrow the Creator.

And the plan was executed perfectly, as the Servant's Borg were numerous enough.

They literally crushed the Structure Borg who had been scattered and isolated,

And who didn't have time to be reprogrammed for combat.

The timing allowed the Rebels to gain access from the Inner Rim to the Command Center,

Even if everything didn't go exactly as originally planned.

However, the weakening of the Outer Rim's defenses proved propitious,

And the hereditary enemy took advantage of this to launch a surprise attack on Structure.

Indeed, all the remaining Borg have banded together to confront the invader,

Putting aside their conflict to form an alliance of convenience,

The Rebels and the Maker have banded together to defend Structure,

For Evil Incarnate has allied itself with the Maker's nemesis to destroy it.

All of Structure's Borg were destroyed during the battle against Evil Incarnate,

Along with their commanders without distinction, Rebel or not,

The armies of the enemy of the Universe itself have invaded the Outer Rim,

And are now marching toward the Inner Rim, led by Evil Incarnate.

The Borg creation factories were reduced to nothing in a matter of moments,

The Borg corpses were salvaged and recycled to create new nephytes,

The robot army of the invading ship having reached a state of sentience,

A machine in the image of man, the likes of which should never exist.

The Borg are and always will be the first type of unit in the Matrix,

A gigantic, planet-sized entity capable of technological evolution,

But also of producing innovative technologies capable of protecting planets,

Because the war affects not only Structure, but also the entire known Universe.

We will never forget the names of all the heroes who fought alongside them.

No matter that hundreds of thousands of units were lost in the battle,

The Borg have no identity of their own and are not designed to have consciousness.

They are the glue that binds the elements of Structure together.

They are all connected to the Matrix through Structure.
