Lyrics

What do witches do?
They are malefic, negative, and destructive
Their knowledge of the art of the occult gives them tremendous powers
They can change the course of events, and people’s lives, but only to do harm
Their goal is to accumulate great personal wealth, but that can only be achieved by injury to others
Why do you have all this interest in the occult?
The clock is late and I should be alone
No one to talk to, no one to phone
But something’s chilled me straight to my bones
13 knocks, a visit in my home
(Knock one) The picture frames on the walls fall down
(Knock two) I make sure I’m the only one around
(Knock three) The windows shake and the lights go out
(Knock four) The music starts, and it’s getting loud
Wrestling the wind blowing through my floors
I barricade the windows and I lock up the doors
But the music plays from inside the foyer
And the knocks, they beat to a ghastly score
(Knock five) The glass shatters and I hear a yell
(Knock six) The kind of feeling that I’m living in hell
(Knock seven) The horns bellow and the strings all swell
(Knock eight) The fire burned and the crosses fell
(Knock nine) It’s getting closer, and I’ve nowhere to go
The walls are cold and they feel like snow
(Knock ten) The bangs are louder and they’re getting close
Say a prayer for me before I go
(Knock eleven) Tell me is it something that I’ve done?
Animals are crying from beyond
(Knock twelve) Have I gone mad, or is this my grudge?
The final knock will be the judge
13 knocks coming to my door
13 knocks coming to my door
13 knocks coming to my door
13 knocks coming to my door
