Lyrics

We boarded on the runway, mama holdin' my hand,
Seventeen, bright dreams, Peruvian homeland.
Thunder rolled like a warning no one dared to heed,
Lightning split the darkness like a prophecy of need.
Cabin shaking, people praying, engines screaming like they're alive,
Metal bird got struck mid-flight we fell out the sky.
Wind roaring in my ears, world spinning like a dream,
Seat belt locked around my waist falling through the green.
Ten thousand feet down, no wings left to glide,
Angels must've caught me, or the forest took my side.
Hit the earth, woke in silence, pain blooming like a flame,
Mama? Mama?! I called, but no one answered my name.
I fell from the heavens through fire and rain,
Walked through the jungle with blood in my veins.
The world tried to break me, again and again,
But I rose from the wreckage remember my name.
Juliane…
Wings of hope in the wild terrain…
Juliane…
I survived through the thunder and flame.
Collarbone shattered, vision blurred, wounds open raw,
Mosquitoes, silence, vultures circled what they saw.
But my parents raised me knowing life beneath the leaves,
The river is the lifeline water never deceives.
So I followed where it whispered through the roots and the stone,
Heart heavy with the knowledge I was walking alone.
I drank from the moving water, slept beneath the weeping sky,
Every night the darkness whispered, "Girl, you're meant to die."
But I kept on stepping, infection crawling in my skin,
Maggots chewing at my wounds I let the healing begin.
Ten days through hell, but I carried my flame,
Till I stumbled on a cabin and the world knew my name.
Ninety-one souls lost…
One left standing in the green.
Life ain't measured in what breaks you,
But in the fire you walk through unseen.
Now I speak for the fallen, for the lightning in the storm,
For the ones who face the darkness trying to find a new form.
The jungle didn't claim me, the sky didn't let me die,
My scars ain't reminders they're my wings when I fly.
I fell from the heavens through fire and rain,
Walked through the jungle with blood in my veins.
The world tried to break me, again and again,
But I rose from the wreckage remember my name.
Julian.
I survived.
And I walked out alive.
