The most diminishing kind of treatment

Your sense of belonging slips like sand through the fingers

Abnormally aware of your state of mind

A mind you are closer than ever to lose the grip of

Watch yourself slip, and fall, and refuse to get back up

Have you even loved anything?

Do you know how to kill the human psyche?

Well, I found that I am everything you hate

And something's speaking through the gaps between the weights

So let me pick apart the sounds of my mistakes

Just like I ought to

What do you call it when you're slamming on the brakes?

And you remind me that I'm just your empty space (guilt)

And call it off for every reason in your brain

And I won't stop you
