I've written many letters to you

None of which have made it off the page and onto your brain

I couldn't bring myself to.

I’ve addressed many letters to you

There's lots i've maintained, i’ve made many claims

None of which will ever reach you. It's best, me thinks, that they do

Stay here on this page, contained in my brain than be sent over to you

I believe it is in the best interest of you

Because all i maintain is slightly insane and so

Its better i do: harbour my letters to you

Time moves by more quickly for you but to me, it feels so long

I've sent many dreams to you

If any of them made their way onto to your brain is something i could never deem true

I do not possess the correct tools to measure the trajectory of my dreams

After issuing them to you

Its something i could never do

You could inform me of their landing, if you really wanted to

But i doubt its something you'd do

Because all that i've dreamt is better left unspoken

And so, ill understand if you do: harbour the dreams i've issued you
