Lyrics

When tribulations test my faith and fear sets in
The enemy whispers, Look away from Jesus
But my heart is steadfast, fixed on Christ
Nothing can separate me from His love
The chains of darkness are broken
Christ's sacrifice has set me free
Guided by His Spirit, I abide in His Word
Praying and worshiping in Spirit and in Truth
So I will wait, keeping my faith alive
Though the fig tree may not blossom
And the fields yield no food
I will praise the Lord of my salvation
For God is not man, that He should lie
Has He said, and will He not do it
My God is faithful, He is able
I will wait till His will is done in me
Joseph, though promised greatness, faced betrayal
Sold into slavery, slandered, imprisoned
Tempted, tested, yet he remained faithful
God, who watches over His Word, turned evil into good
And every promise of God came to pass
Like Joseph, though perplexed, I will trust God's plan
He always works in ways beyond our knowing
Job, blameless before God, was struck with sorrow
Losing wealth, children, strength, distressed with pain
Misunderstood by friends and family alike
Yet he stood firm, refusing to curse God
In affliction he declared, I know my Redeemer lives
In the end, God restored more than he lost
Like Job, I desire God Himself; not the things He gives
So I will wait, keeping my faith alive
Though the fig tree may not blossom
And the fields yield no food
I will praise the Lord of my salvation
For God is not man, that He should lie
Has He said, and will He not do it
My God is faithful, He is able
I will wait till His will is done in me
The apostles were beaten and imprisoned
Mocked, stoned, and despised for their faith
They suffered hunger, cold, and endless toil
Shipwrecks and dangers could not stop them
Through every trial, their confidence grew stronger
Like these Heaven's heroes, rejected by the world
I will persevere, awaiting the crown of life
Church, when troubles come despite doing what's right
Stand firm, drawing strength from God's Word
Pray always, worship and choose righteousness
Doors may close, friends may slander and turn away
Your goodness may be repaid with evil and grief
Though God may seem silent, yet remember
He's promised; through the fire, you shall not be burned
Through the waters, you shall not be overwhelmed
For those God loves, He also chastens
His plans are for your good, not to harm you
But to bring you to your expected end at His timing
Christians, live for what lasts, not what fades
So we will wait, keeping our faith alive
Like Daniel and the three Hebrew men
Even if God does not deliver
We will still choose Him above life
For we are convinced that nothing
Shall separate us from the love of God
Which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
Our greatest currency is the grace of God
We will wait till His Will is done in us
