"Funny how the past lingers. Some nights, I can still feel the warmth fading, slipping through my hands. Like a memory I never meant to keep.

I told myself I wouldn't turn back, wouldn't listen to the echoes calling me home. But some things never work out the way you want them to. Some things aren't what you wish they were. It's all just noise now,

familiar faces lost in the cold, the weight of promises I couldn't keep. The signal cuts in and out fragments, static, regret. I tried… God, I tried. But trying isn't the same as leaving. And leaving isn't the same as being free.
