Lyrics

Lost
I was walking through the forest just the other day
When a little old woman and a little old man
They were chasing a ginger man
They ran as fast as they can
So, I followed them, as fast as I could
Saw a herd running wild in the wood
I lost them all and I felt a shiver
I ram through a raging river
The clouds in the sky are so strange
Vapors and the mists of deep dark stain
The hollow trees just drip and stare
A wolf howls somewhere,
I got lost lost lost
I got lost lost lost
I got lost lost lost
And on my own
Quickly found a small wooden bridge
Sweet green grass on the other side
Scrambled up on the creaky deck,
Hadn't got halfway yet
When a voice called out from beneath that bridge
Sound of it made me cringe
I'm a mean old ogre gonna eat you up
And this ugly thing jumped on up
Had to be quick I had to be bad
This man eating midget was a real big drag
So I hit him quick no time to think
And sent that ogre down into the drink
Took off running just as fast as I can
Couldn't catch me I'm a ginger man
The clouds in the sky are so strange
Vapors and the mists of deep dark stain
The hollow trees just drip and stare
A wolf howls somewhere,
I got lost lost lost
I got lost lost lost
I got lost lost lost
And on my own
Well, the sweet green grass looked real good
But I ran right out of the neighborhood
When I stopped to look up
Took the time to drink a cup
The nighttime came I was on my own
Stories were ending the kids going home
I could hear them wrapped in their blankets tight
Mommies and Daddies home for the night
But I was locked out for the night
On my own in the middle of the night
The clouds in the sky are so strange
Vapors and the mists of deep dark stain
The hollow trees just drip and stare
A wolf howls somewhere,
I got lost lost lost
I got lost lost lost
I got lost lost lost
And on my own
