Lyrics

The massive stone gate started closing down slow,
Their wounded companion still trapped below.
Everyone stood outside, frozen in fear,
No one dared to help, no one would go near.
Only the newbie Thomas ran through the wall,
Racing against time before the final fall.
His friends said he's crazy, a suicide run—
But Thomas kept moving, he wasn't done.
Minho wasn't joking, this was no game,
Three years in this maze, and nothing had changed.
Every night the doors seal, 'til morning light breaks,
No one survives the dark—those are the stakes.
'Cause when the gates close, the monsters run free,
So Thomas and Minho grabbed their friend to flee.
The roaring grew closer from shadows unknown,
But vines on the wall gave them hope of their own.
They tied up their friend as the night closed in tight,
Then a Griever appeared at the end of their sight.
Thomas ran in terror through corridor walls,
But the beast always found him in every hall.
Cornered and desperate, a bold thought came through—
He sprinted ahead, knowing what he must do.
With vines as his weapon, he trapped the beast's claw,
Minho grabbed him quick—they ran for it raw.
A closing corridor caught Thomas's eye,
One final gamble—do or die.
They raced toward the gap as it narrowed down fast,
And slipped through the crack at the very last.
Next morning the stone doors opened wide,
Empty hallways, and hope had died.
They thought Thomas and Minho were lost to the maze—
Then they walked out alive, to everyone's gaze.
No one had survived a night inside,
But Thomas broke the legend—and turned the tide.
