Lyrics

Yep, me again
Castor Wendell
As if you haven't heard enough of my voice by this point
Alright, here's the deal
I found a way to reactivate my cryogenic chamber
It's pretty much a duct tape and super glue fix
Without getting into specifics on how I did it
But aside from that
I created a LOG 539
And a LOG 540
I coded each of these logs to send dependent on the status of the liquid nitrogen supply
If you receive LOG 539
Then I have adequate storage to survive in the chamber
If you receive LOG 540
Which would be this one
Then there wasn't enough for me to make it
This means one of 2 things
I'll wake up yet again
Or I'll simply never wake up again
And I'm not sure which is the lesser of two evils if I'm being honest
I mean, they thought I was crazy
I suppose I proved them right
But realistically, who cares
Everything's insignificant anyways
You, me, the sun that shines down on the beautiful earth
The ocean, the trees
The headphones you're hearing my voice through
Insignificant
Look, there was a point in time where the ground we walk on didn't exist
And there's gonna be a point in time afterwards
Humans aren't even a mere fraction of a millisecond in the life span of this grand universe
Now I know what you're thinking
Castor, what now? why do I care
Well, to whoever received this message
Hold your loved ones close
Take value in human interactions
And enjoy what you do in life
Death is wired in nature, it's inevitable
The only thing worse than you're time running out
Is if you're unhappy when your final second ticks
And maybe that's what this journey was about you know
Realizing the endpoint wasn't the true destination
But finding yourself along the way was the purest outcome
In that case, it's also fair to say that not every journey has a happy ending
But what if the end of every journey
Only opens the gateway for the next one to
Begin
