Lyrics

Intro (cold arpeggio, distant thunder, rising feedback)
I walked inside the silence, where the light forgets to breathe,
Corridors of silver, a halo made of grief.
Verse 1
Faces in the glass, they wear my name like knives,
Polished bone and hollow eyes, where the old truth hides.
Brick and sound, the city folds into my chest,
I see a king of paper crowns, trembling in a chest of best.
Pre-Chorus (building)
Every step becomes a drumbeat, every heartbeat cracks the floor,
Reflections echo back the things I left in war.
Chorus (full band — roar)
In the Glass Cathedral I bow to my reflection,
Worshipping the fracture, kissing my rejection.
Stone and smoke and mirror-fire, burning through the cold,
I raise my hands to see myself — a stranger in a gilded hold.
Verse 2
The mirror tells no mercy, but it keeps a perfect lie,
It sharpens all my failures, makes the quiet reasons cry.
I watch the ghosts arrange themselves into a throne,
A congregation built of shards, worshipping the unknown.
Pre-Chorus (tense)
Pressure builds like thunder in the hollow of my name,
The more I look, the less I find — the less I can reclaim.
Chorus (heavier)
In the Glass Cathedral I kneel to every fracture,
Mosaics of my sins lit up by cruel capture.
Echoes carve the rafters, screams like cathedral folds,
I face the vaulted mirror and feel the metal in my soul.
Bridge (post-rock shift — calm, expansive)
Silence like snowfall, sound unwinds in silver threads,
Reflections drift like paper boats on rivers of lead.
Breathe — the world is thinner when the glass begins to breathe,
Close your eyes and watch the light unweave.
Instrumental (slow build to a savage solo — guitars slice, drums march)
(lead guitar screams, then a wash of delay and reverb)
Breakdown (metal stomp)
Shatter me — let the thunder spill and drown the painted saints,
Shatter me — find the lover in the shards the mirror paints.
No more holy images propped up on hollow gold,
Rip the altar from the echo, let the hidden names be told.
Chorus (final — colossal)
In the Glass Cathedral I burn my own reflection,
Feeding all the fractures to a new direction.
From the ruins of the looking glass, a louder heart is born,
I stand amid the splinters, crowned by light and thorn.
Outro (fading — atmospheric)
Glass falls like rainfall, silver rivers on the floor,
The echo keeps on living — but I am something more.
Walk out of the cathedral, shadow lighter than before,
Leave the mirror in the silence, leave the rest behind the door.
