Lyrics

We're in a Rush, a decision made faster than fear can catch up
We Fly by Night, running dark with the lights down
Slipping past the crowded lanes and the cold Caress of Steel of old satellites and drifting debris
At 2112 the launch sequence clears, the clamps release and the ship rise cleanly into the black
We offer A Farewell to Kings, to gravity, to borders, to everything that once defined us
And soon we leave the Hemispheres behind, watching continents blur into a single, fragile sphere
Below, the atmosphere folds into Permanent Waves, bands of cloud and ocean dissolving into abstraction
The last Moving Pictures from home flicker out on the cabin screens
We scan the dark for Signals
Holding on to a quiet kind of Grace Under Pressure as the silence grows heavier
The cockpit glows through the Power Windows, every system steady and alive
And when nerves spike, we remind each other to Hold Your Fire—not every shadow is a threat
The jump coordinates lock in, Presto, the stars stretch into white lines
Out here, time begins to Roll the Bones. Chance becomes part of the navigation
Every action finds its Counterparts, light and shadow, risk and reward
We Test for Echo, sending our voices into the void, listening for proof that something answers back
Instead, we drift through Vapor Trails of ice and dust
Tracing forgotten orbits that map out like Snakes & Arrows across the display, trajectories of fate we can follow but never fully control.
And then it appears
A vast structure turning slowly in the distance mechanical, celestial, like Clockwork Angels forged from brass and light, keeping time for a universe older than memory
The destination was never to escape
It was transformation
