The ones that never made it past my teeth and the promises that I could never keep 

Cheers to my thoughts that will never reach your ears

Every evil one that brings me to tears

Celebrate the words that have been building up for years

This road has been tread again and again

What good are apologies if I show no repent?

Smooth youthful faces, they darken with fear

And the bags below your eyes sink lower with the years

All this anguish and this grief, dissipate to waves of relief

One foot in lament, losing all balance with thoughts of regret
