A possession of two contrasting parts

This album is an exposition of my exploration of emotion

Which oftentimes contradict

There are so many different ways to channel catharsis

And as I've grown I've learned that is doesn't always have to be loud

Sometimes the softest songs hit the hardest

I'd love for the world to hear this

but I'm content to perform for a crowd of one

I'm grateful for the ability to create and release something tangible

If this makes it to your ears, I want you to experience, and connect with it it in whichever fashion feels right for you

I’ll try my best not to color these songs with my own bias

So as to preserve the feelings perceived by those who listen

Before I hit play

I’d like to dedicate this album to a friend who taught me not to worry about external perception

And to do what feels right in my soul
