When it's all said and done

What did you leave behind?

I used to think that legacy was built on what you win

Trophies, titles, headlines — things that fade and things that dim

But standing here right now I see it different than before

Legacy ain't what you take — it's what you leave when you walk out the door

It's the 4 AM alarm when everybody else is sleeping

It's the promise to yourself that you been quietly keeping

It's the discipline they never saw, the grind behind the curtain

The days you felt like giving up but kept pushing through the hurting

And I ain't done — not even close — but if it ended right today

I'd know the people watching me saw someone who refused to break

Not perfect, never was, got cracks all through the foundation

But I kept building anyway — that's the definition of dedication

So what's the story when the final chapter's written?

What's the mark I left on every life that I've been given?

I don't need a statue — I don't need my name in lights

I just wanna know that when they tell the story of my life

They say he never took the easy road, he chose the fight

They say he burned through every wall and ran through every flame

And when the dust had settled — the world was not the same

That's legacy

Legacy is not a monument, it's not a plaque upon a wall

It's every single person who you caught before they fall

It's the fire that you lit in someone else that keeps on burning

Long after you've moved on — that's the legacy worth earning

It's your kids watching you get up when life has knocked you flat

It's your partner seeing effort when you had nothing left in the tank

It's the stranger in the gym who saw you grinding through the pain

And thought "if they can do it — maybe I can do the same"

I don't need the world to know my name to know I mattered

I just need to know I gave it everything and left it shattered

Every wall, every ceiling, every limit on the shelf

I broke for me — but more than that — I broke them for someone else

I just wanna know that when they tell the story of my life

I'm not building this for a trophy case

I'm building this so my family knows what's possible

Not a highlight reel of moments — something deeper than all of that, something real

I'm leaving proof that broken people can rebuild from nothing

I'm leaving proof that rock bottom is the start of something

I'm leaving every early morning, every late night session

Every scar, every setback, every learned lesson

I'm leaving footprints in the concrete — follow them or don't

But know that someone walked this path when everybody said they won't

And if they ever ask about me — tell them this is what I chose

Tell them I was just a person who refused to let it close

Tell them I was never special — I was just too dumb to quit
