Lyrics

I've never heard truer words than what you put in life is what you deserve
Whether it's success from the work you put in the universe
Or if it's the skeletons buried that wake and lift the dirt
Disturb the peace of roses the path you chosen gone gift a hearse
Get some food right up the block cross the street from the liquor store
Hit the crib then heard them shots down the block from the liquor store
Then go back to watching movies karma know it's duty
I been tryna tell you more bout yours truly
I been prepping for the summer time confidence been fortified
My mind be acquiescent to the steps in which my heart provides
I feel my scales is balanced everything is faith and compromise
If my doubts do damage may I live this life a thousand times
What's true success without the climb I'm focused
I was born in 97'
My momma left for Michigan in search for better prepping
Got homesick and came back to Jersey right after she birthed me
Then we lived in that same city where Kanye proved he was worthy
Good karma
See I just wanna lay down
On that island in the middle of the clouds
See I just wanna stay a child
I deal with more than a little bit
I really need a better whip but I can't afford it
Can't afford to duck responsibilities I been avoiding
Been a void inside my heart important calls I been ignoring
Can't ignore the fact this feeling that I'm feeling ain't too foreign
Can I sort through all this family trauma clogging all my arteries
My karma breeds a lineage of men who plant unwanted seeds
A part of me just wanna tell my siblings boy don't follow me
When I know I should be like the one that studied carpentry
Family members I don't even speak to anymore
The time passes makes more distance I can't reach you anymore
**** dying losing brothers parents have I been too careless
What's the sense in tryna build a castle with no one to share with
What's the sense in tryna make a living try a make a million
To feed yo ppl but your stomach got that aching feeling
Sometimes I look at childhood pictures when I'm lost and frown
Cause then I start to ask myself what made you lose that smile
is it karma
See I just wanna lay down
On that island in the middle of the clouds
See I just wanna stay a child
I deal with more than a little bit
I never heard truer words than what you put in life is what you deserve
Me I chased success from the work I put in the universe
So when my whole family moved to Atlanta for new rebirth
I chose to stay in Jersey and hunker down to pursue my work
Selfish was it pressure I felt from modern society
The urge to find some wealth from my talents it did inspire me
Was it from my attachment to gardens that I grew up in
Despite the dread of these moments some pain & some empty stomachs
The urge to be the one to pull all us from poverty
The few misguided thoughts of me being a star to be
The singular memento you left me was hard for me
So that's why when I crashed the jeep I had almost lost part of me
Bad karma I collected from selfishness & a lack of faith
Ego less so I mask my face
Led me onto this path today
I lost my way hope I get it right fore I pass
away
End of the day I just hope all my **** safe
