You Are Everywhere

I have sailed upon the seas of endless oceans. Days and days of distance from the shores Loneliness had been my soul companion My life adrift and battered by the storm But in the midst of waves of desperation Your Spirit gently blows and calms the sea There is no ocean wider than your mercy No water deeper than your love for me. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I run from your presence? Where can I go that I cannot find You there For You are everywhere You are everywhere You are everywhere Everywhere. I have lived through nights when darkness overwhelmed me I have walked through days as dark as any night Fear begin to blur the road I traveled The way of peace was hidden from my eyes But though the shadows covered every footstep Your loving hand would guide me on the way The darkness is not darkness to you, Father And the blackest night becomes as bright as day Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I run from your presence? Where can I go that I cannot find You there? Lord, You are everywhere You are everywhere You are everywhere Everywhere. Where can I hide from Your heart of love? Is there a place that is out of the reach of Your hand? Lord, there is nowhere on earth or in heaven For You, are everywhere. Every step I make, every turn I take, Every where I am, You are there.
