What does the word erotic mean to you? What was your fi rst erotic experience? What was your strongest erotic experience? These were the questions that photographer Linda Troeller and writer Marion Schneider asked over 30 women from almost a dozen countries for the book The Erotic Lives of Women. The music of Jojo Bueldt and Sven Meer Junopilot is sensitively supporting this erotic exploration with women of different ages, social status and various countries. Romantic dreams, deep emotions, desire, sexual phantasies and theories are standing side by side. The voices of these women enable to understand what sex means for them and give us the effect. Within their three year project author Marion Schneider and photographer Linda Troeller made space for the life expression of women from the US, Germany, Brazil, France, Poland, Israel and Sweden (in their book with the same title also from Marocco, Russia and Japan). One is uniting those women: they are ready to talk about their erotic feelings in English, at a location they chose in clothes which support their emotions. The excitement embedded in sensual music can be felt. Eroticism today is still threatening, we are not prepared to and mostly cannot talk about it. This CD enables to overcome fears and creates understanding of something that is beautiful, important and substantial and hopefully creates communication about it, explains Marion Schneider. Taking photographs during the interviews has supported the process of opening up and was accelerating the women's sensual experience without influencing them. Our goal is to make women's true feelings visible, says Linda Troeller. After their first CD titled Junopilot which also is the Band's name Jojo Büld and Sven Meyer have for the first time integrated spoken words into their music. What remains is their relaxed Junopilot sound. It comes right to the point, reminds of sailing, dissolves time, is rhythmically stimulating - and always makes happy.
