Lyrics

Part I - Waiting and Despair
How can I start this story
Deep inside I feel sorry
He was useless, left me helpless
I needed space, no it’s not a race.
Life goes on around me
Go through motions everyday
Sleepless night, always angry
Time is gray, it’s not okay, they will pay.
Waiting, still waiting
How did it come to this
Waiting, still waiting
Is this what we call justice
Waiting, still waiting
Tell me how can I resist
Still waiting, tired of waiting
Still waiting, tired of waiting
Despair fills my heart
Everything is so dark
I need help, I need light
Be with me, hold me tight
Let’s move to the other side
We will create a new soul
Where hope will be wide
And our love will be whole.
And the story goes on
A nice adventure it was to be
Something I could not foresee
But only bad news, left me confused
I live like a zombie
Walking and nowhere to be
Really dark inside of me
Please help me, give me the key and set me free

Waiting, still waiting
How did it come to this
Waiting, still waiting
Is this what we call justice
Waiting, still waiting
Tell me how can I resist
Still waiting, tired of waiting
Still waiting, tired of waiting
All day long clouds in the sky
Even when he stands by my side
Can he be my friend and my guide
My ally, don’t deny, don’t say goodbye
Stay with me my love, my friend
Let’s leave this place behind
Let’s defend, my hand I extend
Come with me and unwind
Part II - The Fight
Blood was boiling, fists clenched tight,
Eyes locked in an intense fight,
Verbal jabs, insults thrown,
As tempers flared and pride is shown.
A push, a shove, then two collide,
A punch thrown with all your might,
Adrenaline pumping through your veins,
As you fight on with unyielding flames.
Sweat beads on your forehead now,
As you struggle to throw another blow,
Fueled by anger and hurt pride,
You fight hard to stay alive.
With the rush now fading fast,
You start to feel the pain at last,
Breath coming in ragged gasps,
Wondering just how long this fight will last.
