Body full of demons, something like six thousand living in him

I never could relate, but then I thought hard for a minute and I had to say, "Wait"

'Cause see there's something in my house and I don't know when I let it in, but I can't seem to get it out

It's got a weird hold on me that I can't explain 'cause it causes me pain, but I need it now

It got real bad, was time for it to go

I told it to leave and opened up the door

And then it laughed in my face, smiled back at me and invited in a few more

And now I know I'm possessed 'cause I'm always depressed

Crippling anxiety got me feeling this stress

My mind's a mess, and yeah I got voices in my head contradicting everything God said

There's demons in me

They're always speaking in me

At times they're screaming at me

I can't get them to leave

And to my self-righteous Christian folk, I know you can't relate to me

Nah, 'cause you're above my struggle, you already solved that puzzle, right?

Please. I wish you'd take your mask off, admit you're lost (ha)

But for you that'd be heresy

No, you'd rather act just like the righteous fools that put Him on the cross, you Pharisee

You're bleeding insecurity, it's eking out your pores

Acting so pure and you don't even know the Lord

You don't even need Christ 'cause of what you got

You're just so holy you could be your own god

I'd be careful 'cause it's such a good act, you might fool God into thinking that you're alright

You know the key to His kingdom is brokenness, so it looks like you might not get an invite

You know I'd hate to see someone so righteous and clean separated from the Lord for all eternity (whoo)

This might hurt your feelings but it's true

Maybe you got some demons in you too
