We didn't expect this but I can accept this

As something that needed to be

Her mortal life has ended and I'm done pretendin

That I know what's best for me

It's strange the sad and joy in me

That I feel simultaneously

I miss her but I've also never felt more free

My soul is stung without her voice

But now we both can make a choice

To heal with our Savior more completely

We knew she'd be healed and God has revealed

A way to get it done we didn't see

His action was drastic but ain't it fantastic

The way that it's all working out to be

If anything our connection

Feels close to perfection

With both of our perspectives vastly changed

The way that darkness pulled at me

Now silenced internally

Priorities now joyfully rearranged

It's now Christmas morning, the Spirit's glow adorning

The room where I am reading on my own

Two months since her passing with part of me still asking

If I was truly supposed to let her go"Worthy sacrifice" I feel Him say, the greatest gift I got that day!

She's now with the angels she used to see

Now I can move on with my life

With guidance from an angel wife

Who helps me to set others free like me

God has healed me
