Lyrics

Some people hate doing the do
Or just won't do the do
I mean it sucks
If someone tries to force you
Or you try to force yourself to do the do
I mean really
But how do you know if you're doing the do
Or not doing the do?
Do you have to stop doing the do
In order to go straight to its negation?
I doubt it
Like Dylan once said
"Impossible" and he hands you a bone
Some people like to enumerate the dos and the don'ts
But to me it's all doing the do
Any way you slice or dice or fry or spice
You gotta try it
Then lo and behold you're doing the do again for the nth time
Can something be itself and its opposite at the same time?
Or is that just another version of doing the do?
Maybe you can't escape doing the do
Like a Klein bottle
Having no inside or outside
Or both an inside and outside at the same time
Which sounds like a contradiction of some sort
But the Klein bottle does its own do
From the inside out and the outside in
Some people hate doing the do
Or just won't do the do
I mean it sucks
If someone tries to force you
Or you try to force yourself to do the do
But how do you know if you're doing the do
Or not doing the do?
Do you have to stop doing the do
In order to go straight to its negation?
Some people like to enumerate the dos and the don'ts
But to me it's all doing the do
Any way you slice or dice or fry or spice
You gotta try it
Then lo and behold you're doing the do again for the nth time
