Woke up this morning

Hunger about to gnawin' me through

Just started thinking

Asked myself, "Tell me what can I do"

I woke up this morning

Hopelessness fixing to drive me insane

But how could I know then

That the end of this day would bring

Relief from some of this toil and pain

Hopped on a plane in Boston

Thought I'd leave all my troubles behind

Here three days later

Lying down here and I woke up to find

With the same hangups and the same point of view

But somehow it's different now

So I think I'll move out
