There was a time when I was younger I was easily led I use to look at certain people strange I believed what they told me and it stuck inside my head But a funny thing happened then one day Yes a good conversation was had by me And a man who shall remain innominate And as he walked away I found that we were much the same A good conversation's what it takes I couldn't wait to tell my family and my friends about this man Let's just say that they were not impressed So I offered them the challenge to explore their narrow minds And get all their opinions off their chest Yes a good conversation we had right then I'm glad to say that it was not in vain If a little common ground is the least that can be found Then a good conversation's what it takes Oh what it takes Now in this world there are some people who will never engage Hatred has become their sole defence Some are just too ignorant and some are not too bright All there to be exploited by the press If a good conversation is lost on them Then the rest of us can step up to the plate When curiosity sparks that's the perfect place to start And a good conversation's what it takes
