It is worth convening

In the silence creaking

In the quiet speaking

In the ambling speeding

And in restlessness

In the picture debris

In the taking ruining

You can’t share what you see

Without all the noise

What is wrong with us?

We all shout at once

What’s become of us?

Life won’t miss us none

Is it worth repeating

It is worth convening

What’s it worth not proceeds

Not just for the few

All the time there’s something

Plan and place and pointing

Hold some space for nothing

Nothing’s stopping you

Life doesn’t stop without us being alive

The rats and the roaches and the weeds survive
