As we all stand waist deep

In the blood of our children

But our pathetic lives

Engulfed in shame

Directing the blame

Fanning the flame of human decay

Suffer the hate you brought into this world

Choke on the dreams you shattered

Drown in the hate you forced down people's throats

A chorus of despair

That cries out for air

Lungs filled with desperation

Moments of clarity

Trapped in the air we breathe

Succumb to insanity

In pain we see everything embarrassingly clear
