I've been thinking of leaving for sometime now

Repeated myself and I know not quite how

You don't seem to mind by the look in your eye

You might have told me not to bother to try sometime ago

It's been sometime since I've been on my own

I don't mind the thought of living alone

Without all the struggle to read thoughts between the lines

Fighting silence or counting down the time

Since I told you I've realized the most

That I have been living my life as a ghost

Pensive and quiet I've kept to myself

Collecting dust like a book on the shelf that you read

Sometime ago

I'll build a home if given some time

And fill it up with friends of mine

Music and laughter and things I adore

I can't imagine I'll require much more of my home

And I'm going home
