In the beginning it wasn't long but I was free

To roam the earth, all the land and the seas

Now I sit here perched underneath this tree

Staring at a half eaten apple

It was the secret she whispered in my ear

The darkness centered on, she didn't want the world to hear

Not the viper in the garden
