But it seemed like he knew me asking all sorts of questions

Then finishing my sentences before I could answer

Like why I smoked cigarettes?

Told me that he lost his Grandfather to cancer (damn)

Well hell I did too

And suddenly I felt connected like he saw right through

Then he asked me why I push people away

Why I don’t smile and laugh and carry on like I used to?

Like I used to? that sounds like news dude

We just met realized I had the view skewed

Looked into his eyes started asking who’s who

Well God damn, it’s you
