Yesterday's Paper

You were burning alive till your tears put out the flames

You were the most beautiful thing cause your scars remained

I still remember when we used to dream too much

And how you walked through life like you never could be touched

We spent our whole lives rejecting everybody's love

And now you're the darkest bird flying with the doves
