Achromatic Gloom

Time melts away

And now I stay, crawling and whimpering

Lifeless and gray, my shrill voice piercing the nothingness

I weep for my ignorance, an elegy to mankind's foolishness

All I know now is desolate

Everything that once was has turned to ash and dust we salt the earth with our pleas of liberation

I am torn between living and ending it all but the portal beckons

Amidst the curdling blood of a distant sea, I scour the bones and teeth for God's loving Grace

Let me die

Oh god please, let me die

Wandering, panicking, all sense of sanity slipping

No funeral for mankind, we tried to save it but flawed are our minds

Look to the dawn and scream as it fades

I couldn't save her by god she's betrayed
