Stepped out of bed not knowing

What the day would bring but it looks like

It's all really quite funny

My sunny day turned rainy

I've been looking for my shadow

My only friend

He's not around

He can't be found

It's hard to live in a world

Where the sun might fade

Everything obscured by the shade

Tomorrow's joys in sorrows presently paid
