I may not drive a fancy car

I couldn't pay the bill

I may not have a picket fence

And I bet I never will

I may not have a diamond ring

Or go to fancy restaurants

But I've got things that money can't buy

And this is what I've got

I travel round the country playing music

With the true love of my life and my good friends

If time was up and I would go tomorrow

id smile knowing this is how it ends

I may not have a tiny waist

I've got a tiny bank account

I may not have much couth or grace

But I know what living is about

I may not have a flat screen

Or sail a thirty-nine foot yacht

But I've got thing that can't be bought

And this is what I've got

I wake up in the morning when I want to

And I go to bed whenever I feel tired

I stay out late not worrying about tomorrow

And I write a song whenever I'm inspired
