One Step Forward

It's always One step forward Two steps back It's like my life's A skipping track Yeah I'm stuck It's always Say you'll change then Take it back Cuz people buy That same old act But I'm stuck The smiles have all been fake And this might be coming late But I know that it's my fault Can you look me in the eyes And say this living in disguise It's not gonna be forever I never Feel it's safe To be myself So I substituted Someone else And I'm stuck Cuz it's One step forward Two steps back Like courage was A heart attack And I'm stuck This cycles gotta end sometime soon I keep on going back on myself Tell me there's some hope of breaking out I don't have to keep losing ground
