Seems like the sun is always shining when I start to go dark

I started following my dreams again, I guess it's a start

Tryna keep an open mind, but then the world seems to remind me

That the thought to go against the surface frowned upon

My daily talks with the Lord have finally ceased

The smile that I've been wearing is genuine full of peace

Lately I've been blooming and turning over new leaves

I wanna thank you for your patience and trying to handle me

Broaden my horizons, I'm rooting to newer things

In hopes of planting bigger dreams once I've wilted and shed my leaves

I'll probably tell my people I love 'em after this ends

And leave those words inside a draft '

Cause I've always been scared to send

What I've been feeling in that moment in time isn't getting longer

Yet it seems that I continue to struggle with being honest, uh

Emotions bottling over

I feel that anger coming but this is what I'ma shoulder

Meditate my way to a better mind state

Where the work is all play and the love never sways

Growing every season but I've never been the one to spring
