At the start of my day, will I look at myself and feel fine?

Will I live past the sun or how my faith in you will show me a sign?

Will you bring me up or tear me down?

Will today go by fast?

 With all of this in my head

I can still hear you

Before I go, I'll share with you

 At the end of life, I wonder how cruel it feels to think of my past?

Will the dreams make sense or how many of my friends seemed to last?

Will I understand my purpose here?

Will the last days go fast?

 At the end of the day

The more I'm with you, the less I'm afraid

While the end is near

You will be with me

Even with what I hold are things from the dark
