Silence

Once again the wind and rain

Night is drawing in

Dawn will soon arrive so cold and quiet

Almost half moon , in this half light

Yes, I have to say

All this silence is here to stay

With no songs, with no dreams

Without aims, without planes

With no sadness, with no happiness

Just the breaking dawn

And this emptiness all around

I just want to have in my life

Somewhere to be warm

Just a place of joy and understanding

Have someone to share my life with

Someone to feel for

And this silence, never more

There is a noise on the doorstep

I know it is nothing

There´s no one to come

I go down, slowly

I take in my heart so tired

Once more the same hope

Nothing, shadows

Just the same silence

I wake up and see the sunrise

Everything so blue

I can see glad people passing through

They go fast and just can´t see me

Why am I so weak?

I lay down and fall asleep
