There's a place I'll go when everything seems dead

When there's somebody else you want me to be instead

When it's fallen from my hands

And the ocean eats this land

When you are gone and they have taken everything

I'll go back to Wyoming

There's a voice that tells me I should just run away

Eastbound highway 80 and never look back again

When there's nothing left for me

The hero of this fantasy

When I realize that you've given up on me

There's no place that I can go

So I'll leave everything and get out on this road

Chasing an empty horizon til I find home

When there's nothing left for this man

I'll return to a place where this fire began

I will rise from the ashes, this phoenix will fly once again

When there's no place left to go

And there's no one else I know
