I wanted a wife by 25

To start my own life at 25

Have a couple kids by 30, but start the whole process at 25

There was one time I never thought I would even be alive at 25

But I had to leave those thoughts behind

Pulled me down they wouldn't let me rise

Dragged my feet they wouldn't let me climb

So much shade they wouldn't let me shine

So much shame I had to close my eyes, hang my head the crown began to slide

I cried out to God he heard my cry

Lifted me towards a better life

Lifted hands that is the sacrifice

Ram came through so I could drop the knife

I can't move the same as they do, they do

One day we'll look back and see we came through

I'm so low, thought that I could fly solo

Set my eyes on the wrong road

Shot my shot in the wrong goal

Why is everything so slow

Sell my soul that's a no no

Lose the game because I choked

I got my peace of mind, tell me are you satisfied?

What's your life without the grind? What's your grind without the spice?
